The story of Jane Austen's heroines tells about love, disappointment, honor, deceit and, of course, hope and happiness. At the same time, it paints a fascinating and often sobering picture of contemporary England, a world in which the main occupation of ladies is hunting for husbands.

The focus of this novel is on the two Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne, the title of the novel also refers to their contrasting natures. Reason is embodied by the reserved, restrained Elinor, whose actions are guided by common sense and prudence.

Opposite him is his younger sister, driven by her emotions, easily riding the emotional roller coaster of romantic love, passion and disappointment.

Austen's characteristic style, seasoned with subtle irony, excellently developed characters, events rich in twists and turns and sparkling dialogues are guaranteed to be a pleasant recreation for all ages.
