Since it provides a daytime, thermal camera and night vision image in one device, the designers had to put the concept of comfortable focusing and eye distance adjustment on new foundations. The placement of the focus rings next to the eyecup and also close to the thumb and the non-slip surface ensure smooth and intuitive operation. The double eye design effectively reduces fatigue during prolonged use.

The InfiRay Gemini GEH50R version has a 640x512 pixel, 12μm, NETD≤25mk, 50Hz thermal sensor and a detection distance of 2600 meters thanks to the optics. The camera is also equipped with a laser rangefinder with a range of 1,200 meters, so the exact distance of the target can be assessed immediately.

The state-of-the-art thermal camera sensor enables high-precision monitoring around the clock. Its intelligent image processing algorithm provides ultra-clear images even in the most difficult weather conditions. Gemini comes with two sets of standard, high-capacity, replaceable, easy-to-carry 18650 lithium batteries that provide up to 12 hours of operation time when fully charged.
