Oxygen saturation (SpO2) is the percentage of oxygen in the blood. The and#39;Sand#39; indicates saturation, and#39;pand#39; represents the pulse and 02 symbolizes oxygen. Blood cells contain a compound called hemoglobin (Hb). Hemoglobin forms oxyhemoglobin (HbO2) with oxygen. As the blood flows through our body, oxyhemoglobin releases oxygen where needed and turns back into hemoglobin. Oxygen levels in the blood can fluctuate, especially during exercise. Normally, a person's normal oxygen level is 95% or higher. If the oxygen level is lower than 95%, it may indicate a health problem that requires clinical investigation. The lack of oxygen in the blood is called hypoxia. There are several respiratory conditions that can result in hypoxia in the patient; just to mention a few, e.g. COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) and Chronic Bronchitis. Oxygen saturation plays an important role in enabling clinicians to proactively diagnose patients. C1012A is a compact, user-friendly fingertip pulse oximeter with an OLED display. To measure SpO2, the device is simply placed on the patient's finger. Oxygen saturation and heart rate values ​​are displayed on the device display. The device is designed and tested to provide repeatable, accurate measurement results for diagnosing patients' SpO2 levels.
