Our unique algoPIN™ technology uses technology similar to the One Time Password (OTP) of a bank token.

How does algoPIN™ enable you to generate PIN codes without WiFi?

STEP 1 - Pairing
After installation, you need to pair the lock with your igloohome account via the igloohome app on your smartphone.
Upon successful pairing, your smartphone synchronizes the unique PIN token with our secure cloud servers and does not store the token locally.

STEP 2 - Create a PIN code
When you create PIN codes for guests or family members, the smartphone sends a request to your token on the cloud servers.
Using algorithms and seeds, we randomly generate a unique PIN code with a validity period.
You don't need to be near the lock to do this.

STEP 3 – enter PIN code
Now armed with a PIN, you can share it with your desired recipient via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS and more.
The guest does not need to download an additional application to receive the PIN code.

STEP 4 - Access to the property
Since the PIN code is entered into the corresponding igloohome device, the lock translates the PIN code into the desired action, e.g.
Grant access only once.

Easy to install

No big drilling required, just attach it to the lock on the inside of the door. You can keep your existing keys while enjoying the benefits of a smart lock. No modifications are required on the outside of the door either!

Methods of access

To unlock, simply launch the igloohome app and turn on Bluetooth services. There, tap the lock icon and let yourself in!
All igloohome locks are mobile app compatible. Create Bluetooth dongles for guests, family and friends anytime, anywhere.
For easier access sharing, a keyboard is available as an accessory. It offers an additional access method with PIN codes!
The keyboard is the perfect tool for multiple igloohome locks, or to increase the value of an aftermarket lock. Great for guests, visitors, kids, and more, this keypad is great for providing temporary access to your home. You don't need a smartphone to enter, just send them unique PIN codes.
