Product description
On the table or in your pocket, be prepared for anything.
Packed with award-winning features and functions, the xDSD Gryphon combines the best technology from our desktop DACs to create a portable DAC/amplifier that's up to any challenge.
Portable DACs/amplifiers often make compromises between the digital and analog parts - but the xDSD Gryphon doesn't. Like its mythical namesake, it combines two monsters in one: an Ultra-Res digital preamp powered by Burr-Brown MultiBit and a PureWave analog part delivering 1000 mW of power. Designed to handle serious headphones with ease.
It has separate Bluetooth + DAC + amplifier stages: each optimized for maximum performance, digital sources via USB, S/PDIF or Bluetooth analog sources via 4.4 mm or 3.5 mm inputs
Brilliant Bluetooth. High definition wireless connection.
The xDSD Gryphon sets a new standard in wireless connectivity with the latest QCC 5100 series Bluetooth v5.1, which supports cutting-edge formats such as aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, LDAC™, HWA/LHDC, traditional aptX, aptX Low Latency, AAC and even SBC.
It combines QC5100 reception, Global Master Clock for jitter control and Burr-Brown technology for DAC conversion, based on iFi's advanced digital platform.
Balance of power?
The xDSD Gryphon PureWave amplifier delivers a maximum output of 1000 mW at 32 ohms, 6.7 V, easily driving high-impedance headphones.
- 4.4mm Balanced: Perfect for balanced playback
- 3.5mm S-Balanced: Optimized for single-ended headphones
- iEMatch: Eliminates hiss in high-sensitivity IEMs
Plenty of power and versatility for all types of headphones.
The OLED display and iFi's CyberSync operating system together open up a whole new world of user experience - everything from format to battery life is included. Just as importantly, SilentLine technology means the display doesn't add any noise to the system. It can even be turned off if necessary.
iEMatch : Eliminates high-sensitivity headphone hiss while preserving dynamic range.
Custom Digital Filters: Choose from Bit-Perfect, Standard, or GTO (Gibbs Transient Optimized) settings for precise tuning via the on-screen menu.
XSpace : Restores the spacious sound space of recordings.
XBass II : Restores deep bass and high midrange presence for open-back headphones or bass-heavy tracks with selectable "Bass" and "Presence" options.
