The ToughArmor MB834MK-B V2 is a rugged, two-slot M.2 PCIe (NVMe) mobile rack that can be built into a single external 3.5" drive bay and provides up to 64 Gbps data transfer rates on PCIe 4.0 via a SlimSAS 4i (SFF-8654) connection. The design allows M.2 PCIe (NVMe) SSDs from the front of the computer case, quickly and be conveniently accessible, so that the replacement of the drives does not require dismantling the case or the use of small fixing screws.

The tool-free M.2 mounting mechanism greatly simplifies installation: it is enough to place the SSD in the tray, slide the adjustable fastener into the appropriate position, and then fasten it with one movement. The whole process can be done in a few seconds, without screws. The large, high-efficiency aluminum heatsink included with the trays can also be removed and replaced without tools, so maintenance is quick and hassle-free. Integrated EMI grounding technology ensures that the SSD is properly grounded from the moment it is inserted, reducing the risk of failure due to electrostatic discharges.

Efficient cooling is ensured by passive heat dissipation and circular ventilation openings on the casing that work with the computer's own airflow. The SlimSAS interface allows you to utilize the full bandwidth of NVMe, which is several times that of traditional SATA solutions, making the MB834MK-B V2 an ideal choice for high-traffic environments such as servers, high-performance workstations, AI systems and 4K/8K media work.
