The ToughArmor MB118VP-B is a heavy-duty, six-bay U.2/U.3 NVMe mobile rack specifically designed for high-performance, data-intensive, and industrial environments. The solution can be built into a standard 5.25" drive slot and can accommodate six 2.5" U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs. Removable drive trays allow quick replacement and maintenance of SSDs without having to dismantle the computer case, which is especially important for continuous operation systems.

The mobile rack supports the PCIe 4.0 standard and, thanks to the SlimSAS (SFF-8654 8i) connectors, provides a data transfer rate of up to 64 Gbps per drive. This is more than double the performance of PCIe 3.0 and exceeds SATA-based solutions by orders of magnitude. Outstanding bandwidth and IOPS performance make the MB118VP-B ideal for autonomous vehicle systems, real-time data processing, video and film production, artificial intelligence applications, and military and law enforcement computing systems.

The all-metal housing and drive trays provide long-term reliability and a high level of physical protection, meeting stringent industrial and flame safety requirements. Two high-performance fans efficiently dissipate heat generated by high-speed NVMe SSDs, while EMI grounding technology protects drives from damage caused by electrostatic discharges. Intelligent LED status indication, lockable SATA power connectors and unique drive identification labels further increase the system's operational safety and manageability.
