The ICY DOCK ExpressCage MB324V4P-B is a high-performance mobile rack that fits into a 5.25" optical drive slot, which can accommodate up to four PCIe 4.0 U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs (max. 15 mm high). With the tool-less SSD mounting system characteristic of the ExpressCage series, the MB324V4P-B enables fast drive replacement operations, safe storage, and optional screw mounting. The replaceable tray design ensures stability, so it is reliable in both corporate environments and performance-oriented systems.

The device offers PCIe 4.0 bandwidth of up to 64 Gbps per SSD, includes two 40 mm cooling fans and SlimSAS connectivity, making it ideal for edge AI servers, real-time data acquisition systems, high-density storage servers and professional NVMe RAID configurations. The MB324V4P-B enables the installation of up to 61.44 TB U.2 SSDs together in a single 5.25" drive bay, so we can build up to 240 TB+ of fast NVMe storage with a single unit.

Dual 40mm fans and vents ensure optimal SSD temperatures, even under heavy load, while changing trays is fast, safe and repeatable. SlimSAS 8i (SFF-8654) connectors and a PCIe 8-Pin power connector provide full bandwidth and stable power to the four drives while simplifying cabling and improving airflow.
