Hypershell X Carbon exoskeleton deep black HSX-CBN

The Hypershell X Carbon is an exoskeleton designed to support walking and running, mainly on demanding outdoor terrain. Its motors deliver a peak output of 800 W, which the manufacturer says can reduce overall physical effort by up to 30 percent and assist movement at speeds of up to 20 km/h. A response time of 2 milliseconds keeps the support smooth during dynamic running. The AI MotionEngine technology analyses the wearer's movement up to 1000 times per second using inertial sensors, gyroscopes and barometers.

The frame combines carbon fibre, 3D-printed titanium alloy and aluminium alloy, and weighs 1.8 kg without the battery. It folds down to about 43 cm, so it can be carried in a standard hiking backpack. The Carbon version uses a waterproof membrane and an IP54 rating against dust and splashes. Ten automatic modes, including walking, running, hill climbing and stair climbing, adapt the assistance to the terrain.
