Characteristics: The color of lime honey ranges from light yellow to amber. It has a very intense and marked taste, slightly bitter thanks to the silver linden. Intense pure lime scent. It crystallizes relatively easily, but this does not affect its quality.
Composition: Our linden honey usually contains nectar from Small-leaved linden, Large-leaved linden and Silver linden trees.
We recommend: Colds, coughs and sore throats, as well as fevers. Honey with a strong antibiotic effect. It is suitable for those suffering from sleep disorders and insomnia. It has a high choline content, which is why it is also recommended for the prevention of fat deposits and arteriosclerosis. Drink it in tea, coffee or even on its own!
Storage: Protected from sunlight, at room temperature.
We should only put honey in drinks at drinking temperature (max. 45°C) in order to preserve quality!
Crystallization of honey is a natural process! It does not affect its quality at all. The crystallized honey becomes liquid again in a 45 °C water bath.
