Characteristic: Its color can range from yellow to dark brown. Honey with a characteristic marked taste and a bitter aftertaste.
Composition: A type of honey made exclusively from sweet chestnuts. High content of vitamin K.
We recommend: For loss of appetite, anemia and exhaustion. Due to its high vitamin K content, it is recommended for catarrhal and asthmatic coughs. Soothes the mucous membrane.
Storage: Protected from sunlight, at room temperature.
Due to its characteristic taste, it can be perfect for making gingerbread.
We should only put honey in a drink at drinking temperature (max. 45°C) in order to preserve its quality!
Crystallization of honey is a natural process! It does not affect its quality at all. The crystallized honey becomes liquid again in a 45 °C water bath.
