What makes BIO honey BIO?
Beekeepers can only collect BIO honey from an area certified by Biokontroll. The characteristic of these areas is that there is no agricultural land within their 10 km radius. This includes 100% chemical-free, natural animal husbandry. In such cases, only qualified beekeepers can deal with organic honey, and in the case of processing, the distributor will similarly receive this qualification, after taking appropriate measures.
Organic Acacia honey:
Characteristics: The color of acacia honey ranges from white to pale greenish yellow. It has a pleasant, mild taste, with the scent of acacia flowers. It retains its liquid state for a long time. The most consumed honey in Hungary due to its taste and texture. It is classified as Hungarian.
Composition: Acacia honey is characterized by a much higher fructose (fruit sugar) content than glucose (grape sugar), which means it remains liquid and does not crystallize.
We recommend: For everyday consumption, in tea, coffee, with bread or on its own. Due to its low pollen content, it can also be consumed by people with allergies! (Consult your allergist about the consumption amount!)
Storage: Protected from sunlight, at room temperature.
We should only put honey in a drink at drinking temperature (max. 45°C) in order to preserve its quality!
