      Product description

The Hertz HMX 8.8 S-LD-SW.2 is an 8.8-inch (224 mm) coaxial speaker designed for marine use on boats and in open-air settings. Rated at 100 W RMS with a 200 W peak power and a 4 ohm impedance, it matches most marine amplifiers. The oversized woofer with a 32 mm voice coil delivers a fuller low-frequency response, and the manufacturer specifies a frequency range of 45 Hz to 25 kHz.

According to the manufacturer, the speaker is rated IP65 and built for harsh marine conditions. The UV- and salt-resistant ASA grille and the UV-inhibited polypropylene cone are meant to withstand constant sun exposure and moisture on an open deck. The crossover is sealed and includes a resettable high-frequency protection circuit.

A 1.4-inch neodymium tweeter and a silver-white sport grille help keep the sound clear even away from the central listening position. The integrated RGB LED lighting lets you set the mood on board, and the gold-plated, corrosion-resistant connectors support a stable electrical connection.
