Natural, detailed high frequencies

The DPT 26.4 Soft Tetolon® dome tweeter provides fine, airy and crystal clear high frequencies up to 23 kHz. The neodymium magnet provides a quick response and an outstanding sense of dynamics. The front part of the case and the protective grill have the most "open" design. Advanced design techniques have lowered the Fs resonant frequency to 1.5kHz to better match woofer/midrange drivers. The tweeter has compact external dimensions - 44 x 20 mm and comes with an angled adapter for surface mounting.

Tight, deep and dynamic bass

The DPV 165.3 woofer with V-cone® design works with a light, yet stiff diaphragm, with a resonance frequency of only 60 Hz, which results in extremely strong and accurate bass sounds - even when mounted in a door. Thanks to this, the bass is powerful, controlled and distortion-free, even in a classic in-door system. The woofers/midrange drivers are equipped with a V-cone® curved cone made of lightweight pressed pulp with excellent internal damping properties. Due to the low weight of the moving system (the Mms parameter is only 11.6 grams) and the sufficient stiffness of the cone, the speaker sounds very easily and quickly, without distortion. Compared to the "standard" model, the resonance frequency Fs has been reduced to 60 Hz, the quality factor Qts is 0.72, which means sufficiently deep bass for installation in a "classic" car door. The connection clips are gold-plated, the magnet housing is protected by a black rubber cover.

DPCX 2.3 crossover - refined sound image

The compact DPCX 2.3 passive crossover works with an asymmetric 6/12 dB/octave configuration, thus providing excellent phase linearity and a stable stereo sound stage. The metallized polypropylene 100V ADC capacitor used in the HPF circuit guarantees low loss and high reliability, and the connectors are gold-plated. The component classification is carefully matched to the performance of the speakers through numerous comparative tests in the R&D lab and on real vehicles.

High sensitivity, strong sound even with low power

Due to the sensitivity of 93 dB, the DPK 165.3 sounds loud, clear and dynamic even when driven from the basic head unit. With an external amplifier, the system provides even greater control, detail and striking dynamics.
