With our book, we want to help you prepare for the national competency test and practice your language skills. The publication contains ten sets of tasks in which students can encounter tasks similar to the task types of the real competence measurement. The sets of tasks contain tasks for checking the understanding of three read and three heard texts. The texts and dialogues are related to everyday life. The vocabulary and grammar used meet the curriculum requirements of the age group. The audio materials of the listening comprehension tasks in the volume can be downloaded from our publisher's website. The texts were recorded with the help of native speakers. The solutions to the tasks and the transcripts of the audio materials can be found at the end of the book. The book is suitable for use in the classroom, as well as for independent use and practice.
