Hans Rosenfeldt - Wolves nyara

A dead wolf. A violent showdown between two drug gangs. A ruthless female assassin.

When it turns out that the wolf carcass found in the forest of Haparanda, a small town in the far north of Sweden, has human remains in its stomach, detective Hannah Wester already knows that this summer will be different from the others.
The clues lead to a bloody showdown in Finland. But how did the victim get to this area? And where did the money and drugs go?
Hannah and her colleagues move every stone to shed light on the mystery, but they have to race against time, because other people are hunting for the prey. Such as the Russian Katya, whose appearance is followed by many unexpected and brutal events in Haparanda. However, what happened not only turns the life of the small town upside down in the course of a few days, but also that of Hannah, who is forced to face her long-buried past during the investigation.

Hans Rosenfeldt, member of the author duo of the popular Sebastian Bergman series, presents his first independent novel this time. The Summer of the Wolves is a fast-paced, smart and intense Scandinavian crime film. It's so dark, cold and creepy that it takes your breath away.
