    The Hama Safe X50 is an office shredder with cross-cut technology that shreds documents into small particles, processing up to 5 sheets (80 g/m²) of paper at once. It meets security level P-4 / T-4 / E-3 under the DIN 66399 standard, making it suitable for destroying personal data in line with GDPR requirements. Besides paper, it can also shred plastic cards and staples.

    The machine starts automatically when paper is inserted and switches off on its own once shredding is finished. The three-position slide switch lets you choose between off, forward and reverse operation, and reverse mode helps clear a paper jam. An automatic cut-off protects the device against overheating and overload.

    A viewing window on the 11-litre waste bin shows how full it is, so you can empty it in good time.
