Gimesi Dóra - Jeli Viktória - William Shakespeare - Makrancos Kata Rómeó and Júlia - Regényes Shakespeare

A drama is not easy to read - a novel is much easier! The novel Shakespeare transcripts preserve the original plot and the original locations, but put the stories into a more approachable form: thus, the adolescent reader can get closer to the inner world and struggles of the characters, and can easily identify with them. After all, Shakespeare's plays still speak validly to teenagers today - his characters are often almost children, and their dilemmas concern today's readers just as much as the old ones.
There are two love stories in the volume: Romeo and Juliet and Kata Makrancos, a tragedy and a comedy - in both true love and social expectations collide. In both, the conflict is deep, but healing humor and overwhelming emotion are present.
