Gerőcs Péter - Árva pictures

Tamás Szemere, a successful portrait photographer in his early thirties, gets his first shot one day. The novel is the story of the mysterious relationship between the twins in the photograph and the main character spanning almost forty years, full of passion and silence. Is it possible to immortalize a face and do you own yours? The photographer's obsessive struggle, elevated to a life program, with forgetting also stretches the shadow of what a picture captures from our consciousness, and what will become of our lives if we lose control over our own memory, which may never have existed.
