Gerald Durrell - Családom and egyéb állatfajták (2020)

- That scrawny kid again! Larry roared.
- Be careful! Be careful! They are coming! Margo screamed.
- Give me a book! Leslie bellowed. - No need to catch fire, knock it down with a book!
- What's wrong with you, for God's sake? - begged mom, wiping her glasses.
- This sleazy kid... he's going to destroy us all... look at the table... we're knee-deep in scorpions...

The not-so-slightly eccentric Durrell family - the acne-stricken, scheming Margo, the gun-obsessed Leslie, the butternut Lawrence, the animal-crazy Gerry, and their long-suffering mother Louisa - can no longer bear the humid, gloomy English climate. So they do what any other family would do: they sell their house and move to the sunny island of Corfu with Roger the dog. But they soon realize that they have to share their lives and their home with a whole host of animals, including scorpions, geckos, frogs, bats, not to mention the eccentric locals and even more eccentric guests...
