Gardena's Smart Irrigation Control Sensor Kit controls up to six irrigation systems with irrigation valves, allowing six garden areas to be individually, fully automatically and on-demand. The kit includes the Smart Irrigation multi-channel controller, a Smart sensor and the Smart Gateway. Smart Irrigation Control is particularly flexible and compatible with most standard 24 V irrigation valves. It replaces the control unit of the existing irrigation system in the garden with an intelligent solution. Once connected, the above-ground or underground irrigation system is no longer controlled and managed in the traditional way, but with the help of the free Gardena Smart App (iOS/Android). This allows you to set up to six independent watering zones in your garden with different watering intervals. The intelligent irrigation control can be ideally combined with the Gardena irrigation system or the Micro-Drip system. It is protected against splashing water, so it can be installed outdoors without any problems. Together with the included intelligent sensor, which, among other things, measures the soil moisture directly at the roots of the plant, it enables optimal and on-demand watering. By using water efficiently, you can save valuable resources, which is especially important during dry periods. The intelligent sensor measures, for example, soil moisture and current temperature. You send this data directly to the Gardena Smart app on your smartphone or tablet via the intelligent gateway. So you can check, activate and adjust your garden irrigation anytime and anywhere. The Smart Gateway included in the kit is the center of your new smart system. Thanks to the high-performance radio antennas, it provides a safe, stable and long-range connection. The smart gateway is simply connected to the Internet router via WLAN or LAN cable. The helpful wizards in the Gardena Smart app make installation and setup particularly easy. You always have the option to expand the intelligent irrigation control sensor set with additional devices of the Gardena Smart system.
