Installation and use of the new GARDENA smart system is extremely easy thanks to the app's helpful wizards. You can also control the smart SILENO city robotic lawnmower with it. Due to the SensorCut system, the machine mows the grass particularly precisely, reliably and pleasantly quietly. It is ideal for lawns up to 500 m2 and copes with gradients of up to 35% and narrow, hard-to-reach areas. The clippings remain on the lawn, where they naturally nourish the soil. The compact and precise smart Sensor has an extra-large sensor surface and measures the moisture content of the soil at the roots of the plants, exactly where it is needed. The measured values, such as soil moisture and current temperature, are sent directly to the GARDENA smart application downloaded to your phone or tablet via the smart Gateway. You can check, activate and modify the garden irrigation system anywhere and anytime. Irrigation is switched on by the smart Irrigation computer, which you can easily and directly install on the faucet and set various programs on it. Based on the sensor data, you can water the garden as needed, even economically, without wasting precious water. The intelligent irrigation system ensures that the lawn and plants only get water if the soil moisture values ​​measured by the smart Sensor fall below a certain level. This way, you can avoid unnecessary overwatering of the garden, for example after longer periods of rain. This not only protects your garden, but also saves water. The smart Irrigation computer can also be started and stopped manually at the push of a button. In the case of frost or very low temperatures, the smart App warns that problem-free operation is no longer guaranteed. With the application, you can coordinate the watering times and the operating time of the robotic lawnmower. The smart Gateway included in the set is the central element of the new smart system. Long-range wireless receivers create a secure and stable connection. The smart Gateway is easily connected to your Internet router via WiFi or LAN cable.
