The chain is automatically lubricated by the integrated oil tank and glides smoothly on the guide plate. The chain tension can be adjusted without tools with a rotary knob. The LED indicator on the handle continuously shows the battery charge level. The metal claw stop secures the saw blade to the tree or branch, preventing it from slipping. The chain brake and chain catch provide safety. The chain brake stops the chain in the event of kickback, which can occur, for example, when cutting at an unfavorable angle to the tree.
