This product is primarily recommended for those who eat little egg yolk and liver. Even according to the EFSA, the recommended daily intake of choline is at least 400 mg for adults. 1 egg yolk contains 100-150, while 10 dkg of liver contains 200-450 mg of choline. Other foods are low in choline (apart from caviar, marrow and a few uncommon foods). Therefore, if you do not eat 2-3 egg yolks a day + preferably liver at least once a week, it will be difficult to achieve even this 400 mg daily amount of choline. Adequate choline intake is important, among other things, because it contributes to:
for digestion by stomach acid production
for liver function
for homocysteine metabolism
for fat metabolism
The product is called choline. it contains in the form of choline salt (choline chloride), which was chosen because it is a well-usable, stable form, which was used in many tests, and because it does not require the use of any carrier other than water.
Recommended consumption:
6-28 drops per day in one or more installments. Do not consume it concentrated, always mix it with liquid or food. Due to its salty taste, it does not spoil the taste of the soup in small quantities, you can also bake and cook with it. If, on the other hand, you consume more than a few drops at a time and do not like the taste, we recommend that you only drop it in 1-2 sips of liquid and slurp it down quickly between two bites of food or before a pleasant-tasting drink. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, we recommend 12-28 drops if your diet is not rich in choline.
