Product description

With outstanding fucoidan content.
Source of other trace elements and plant components.
Brown algae native to the seas of the Arctic Circle free from human intervention.
High quality from a European source.
Without additives, with very valuable dietary fiber (XOS and gum arabic).

Ingredients:

Organic, sea-derived brown algae (Ascophyllum nodosum), Xylo-oligosaccharides - XOS, Gum arabic (mixture of dietary fibers), gelatin (capsule shell - can be opened).

Application:

With 1×1 meal per day (in the morning). Supplementary iodine supplementation in addition to selenium or multivitamins; in small, medium doses. For example, we very often recommend it with Babyváró multivitamins during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or for GERD (reflux), IBS, IBD, functional digestive disorders (such as eczema) or women's complaints (e.g. breast tenderness, breast cysts, uterine fibroids).

What are the characteristics of Freyagena Arctic Iodine (beyond its natural, standardized iodine content; and beyond the selective prebiotics it contains - all without additives)?

It is a natural source of iodine, which the human body can fully recognize and utilize in various ways.
A complete base and nutrient - nothing is added or taken away from it.
Sustainably wild-harvested from the British Isles and regions further north.
Gently air dried.
Certified free of environmental pollution (European gold standard).
Officially certified organic and a source suitable for biodynamic farming.
Unlike certain vitamin and mineral products, this brown seaweed preparation is a pure and natural, complete functional "food" that contains all the cofactor nutrients and other micronutrients necessary for perfect biological utilization.
Standardized capsule iodine product.
The raw material is a mixture of shallow water brown algae (in contrast to deep-sea algae called kelp or kombu, for example).

Only fresh, wild plants are harvested, cleaned and dried, then immediately ground, micronized or pureed to create convenient and easily digestible formulas.
We chose the shallow-water seaweed that, together with thousands of marine organisms, is fed by the most nutrient-rich sediment in the world.
They harvest the algae in crystal clear water so that they can grow again. Only live plants are collected, not plants floating on top of the water, washed ashore or rooted, so no sand or small fish or crabs can be included.
Fossil fuels are not used for the production of wild-harvested, bio-certified seaweed, which takes into account the principles of sustainability, and serves as the raw material for Arctic iodine.
The algae used as a raw material for Arctic iodine are free from pollutants, toxic heavy metals, microbial pathogens, radiation, GMO, wheat, gluten, dairy and other well-known allergens.
Other products made from kelp, which serves as the raw material for Arctic iodine, are widely recommended by nutritionists, doctors, dentists, associations dealing with healthy nutrition, professional organizations, and are the subject of numerous scientific researches.

Xylooligosaccharides (XOS) act as prebiotics (F) (F) and also very selectively feed beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract, such as bifidobacteria and lactobacilli. Several clinical trials have already been conducted with XOS, reporting a variety of health benefits, including improvements in blood sugar and blood lipid levels, digestive health benefits - particularly promising for diarrhea - and positive changes in immune markers. Interestingly, these benefits are usually observed at doses of 1–4 g/day, i.e. at lower doses than fructooligosaccharides (FOS) or inulin dietary fibers. The results are encouraging, especially in the case of IBS and IBD (F).

Gum arabic (here 100% acacia senegal, we also use a source from organic farming in the product. DE-ÖKO-005; Ecocert IMO GmbH) is a low FODMAP fiber. Another special feature is that with the help of the consumed prebiotic fibers, our intestinal bacteria are proven to produce so-called short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), which can improve our health in a remarkable way. Gum arabic thus nourishes the diversity, i.e. diversity and balance, of the intestinal flora. In the case of a carefully prepared dietary fiber mixture, it is also very important to emphasize that, unlike other products (such as inulin and other soluble fibers), the fermentation takes place slowly and gently in the intestine, so the appearance of unpleasant bloating or other digestive complaints is almost completely avoided. Like other components of the Freyagena product line, Arctic iodine also contains prebiotic fibers that are distinguished participants in future microbiome research. More
