      From the six chapters of the book, we can get to know the development stages of road, water, rail and air transport, as well as space navigation, and we can also read about environmentally friendly transport. Within the chapters, you can find information about the various machines and vehicles in a catalog-like manner. The descriptions give a brief history of the vehicles, and the framed parts summarize the most important technical data (speed, size, number of people that can be transported, etc.).

      Some interesting topics (including Formula 1, high-speed trains, hot air balloons traveling around the world) are covered on double pages. The last pages of the book contain a section presenting the greatest figures in the history of transport and a chronological table. Here you can read about traffic-related records, and here you can also find explanations of the most important technical terms.
