Product description

It supports the functioning of the gastrointestinal system as a vegetable fiber. It is used against constipation. Based on human tests, it lowers cholesterol levels and helps to remove carcinogenic and toxic substances.

It is an annual, wind-pollinated, branched plant belonging to the family of plantains (Plantaginaceae). It is native to Asia. It is from Iran. It is also consumed as food. It is an official drug in the European (PhHg VIII.) and US pharmacopoeias. In weight loss, it prevents the development of hunger and regulates the breakdown of fats. As an additive in a diabetic diet, the absorption of sugar slows down - a drop in blood sugar levels is experienced. In animal experiments, it stopped the division of tumor colonies. Its mucus (arabinoxylan) also has an anti-inflammatory effect.

When consuming, the usual fluid intake must be increased by at least 6 dl. It is recommended to consult a doctor before consuming large quantities.
