The fischer wood construction screw PowerFast II 8.0x220 SK TX TG is a galvanized, blue passivated screw with partial thread and TX40 drive for structural wood construction. The countersunk head with internal star (TORX) drive enables maximum power transmission with maximum bit stability. The screw with a countersunk head can be sunk into the wood flush with the surface. Thanks to the thread form of the PowerFast II, it is particularly easy to screw in without pre-drilling. The PowerFast II thread extends into the tip of the screw and provides a quick bite. The milling edges of the shaft and the high-performance anti-friction coating reduce the screw-in resistance and ensure an energy-saving and battery-friendly installation. The 100 mm long partial thread enables the wooden elements to be tightly compressed. The optimized double cone and the lower geometry of the patented milling pockets allow less damage to wood and metal components, which are therefore less likely to corrode. Additionally, milling pockets prevent metal parts from protruding and make it easier to add structures. The PowerFast II wood structural screw is suitable for fastening load-bearing components in coated wood, hardwood, softwood, as well as for wood connections or metal components to wood, such as metal fittings, nails, beam corners and other metal and wood connections, rafter-to-slab connections and fixing roof insulation.
