The fischer PowerFast II 10.0 x 100 TK TX TG wood construction screw is a galvanized, blue passivated, partially threaded screw for wood construction with a TX40 drive. The countersunk head with an internal star (TORX) drive enables maximum power transmission with maximum bit stability. Compared to countersunk screws, the larger head diameter results in greater pull-out resistance, which has a significantly positive effect when tightening components. Thanks to the thread design of the PowerFast II, it is particularly easy to screw in without pre-drilling. The PowerFast II thread reaches the tip of the screw, providing a quick initial bite. The stem-milling ribs and the high-performance sliding coating reduce the drive-in resistance and ensure an easy, battery-saving installation. The 60 mm long partial thread enables tight tightening of wooden elements. The lower head geometry with the optimized double cone and the patented corrosion pockets causes less damage to wood and metal parts, thus reducing corrosion. In addition, milling pockets prevent protruding parts of metal parts and facilitate the installation of structures. The PowerFast II timber screw is suitable for fixing load-bearing elements in coated wood, hardwood and softwood, as well as for connecting wooden or metal components to wood, such as metal fittings, brackets, beam hangers and other metal-to-wood connections, rafter-to-beam connections, and roof insulation.
