The fischer TherMax 8 spacer dowel is a solution for thermal bridge-free fixing in external masonry in the case of ETICS. The fiberglass-reinforced cone mounted with a stud screw is ground into the thermal insulation material through the plaster during installation without special tools. The plastic cone forms a thermal barrier. The adjustable system can be used for ETICS systems and for fixing non-load-bearing layers 45-180 mm thick. With the TherMax 8 system, medium loads, such as lamps and letter cabinets, can be attached to solid and hollow brick, concrete, and aerated concrete.

The spacer installation allows the object to be fixed to be placed exactly where it is set, avoiding damage to the ETICS system. The thermal insulation cone reliably prevents the formation of a thermal bridge between the outer and inner surfaces, thus guaranteeing an energy-optimized fastening. The fiberglass-reinforced cone is etched into the heat-insulating material during installation, thus ensuring quick application without special tools. Combining TherMax 8 with a UX dowel results in a secure fastening in the building material. UX can be installed without dowels directly into a wooden structure after pre-drilling.
