The Fieldmann FZV 4003-E is an electric lawn aerator with a working width of 380 mm. It was equipped with two types of cylinders. The soil loosening cylinder includes 16 blades, while the lawn aerator contains 24 springs. Changing the cylinders is easy and simple. The working depth can also be adjusted in different degrees. The resulting clippings are collected by the FZV4003E in a 48 liter grass collector. It can be easily folded, so it does not require a large space for storage. The size of the ideal work area is 1000 m2.

Lawn aeration
Lawn aeration is a cleaning process of previously cut grass residues and moss, which promotes air circulation, faster absorption of water and nutrients, and leads light to the roots of the grass. Lawn aeration takes place at a maximum depth of 3 mm. If the depth is set higher than this, the lawn may be damaged. Remember to cut the grass before aerating the lawn.

Cutting width
The working width of the device is basically determined by the length of the blades. Currently, the cutting width of commercially available Fieldmann lawn aerators is between 32 and 51 cm.

Lawn aeration with adjustable depth
Due to the wear of the knives and the need for optimal depth, their position can be adjusted - for example, to a suitable depth of 2-3 mm.

Spring cylinder
The spring-loaded comb teeth effectively remove dead plant parts left over from mowing and mulching. With this, fresh air reaches every blade of grass in the lawn, and it also protects the lawn from the spread of weeds and moss.

By choosing the right depth, the blades gently break the surface and thus support the growth of the root system.
