Fibaro Dimmer 2 is a dimming module that can be built into a mounting box behind a wall switch, with consumption measurement. It works with all light sources, but only the on/off function can be used with old fluorescent tubes and transformers. You can switch on the lighting directly with the connected wall switch or through a smart home center, and in the case of adjustable light sources, the brightness can also be changed. Dimmer 2 has protection against overcurrent, overload and overheating, as well as a soft-start function.

- With 220 V conventional and halogen burners
- 12 V ELV with halogen and adjustable LED light sources (electronic transformer)
- 12 V MLV with halogen burners (ferromagnetic transformer)
- Adjustable with CFL (compact fluorescent) light sources
- For LED and CFL light sources with Fibaro Bypass 2 (FGB-002) module

As a wall switch:
- Not dimmable with CFL (compact fluorescent) light sources
- With LED lights
- With old-style fluorescent lamps
