Fazekas Anna - Old néne őzikéje (barna)

"At the bottom of Mátra, on the edge of the village
my old aunt lives
warm-hearted, hard-working, tall,
I know this story from him..."

Who hasn't heard these catchy lines? The old lady who healed the fawn with a broken leg is so well-known that one would almost think she is a folktale figure. It was written by Anna Fazekas and drawn by Róna Emy, who also created two types of illustrations for the touching story. The current old-new edition of Móra Könyvkiadó presents the poetic tale in die-cut form, not with the usual chalk drawings, but with almost twice as many beautiful paintings by the graphic artist.
