StrongVision PRO A is the basic camera of EVOLVEO's new PRO series photo traps. The camera stores all recorded images on an inserted SD card, and you can view individual images or videos directly on the camera, on the large 2.4" LCD display. The camera is suitable for both wildlife observation in the forest and time-lapse for taking pictures or monitoring the development of the building. Thanks to its compact size and conveniently located brackets on the camera frame, it can be secured with the included strap, and possibly with a rope lock, such as the EVOLVEO StrongVision LOCK. The camera is powered by 10x AA batteries with a voltage of 1.5V, which is long provides uptime.

The camera is equipped with an 8Mpx sensor and an active IR filter. They allow the camera to take 4K and up to 30 Mpx maximum resolution photos. The active IR filter works automatically and helps when shooting at night, when the camera detects the environment with a strong IR illuminator. The invisible lighting is provided by 6x high-brightness IR LEDs, each with a power of 3W. The wavelength of the illumination is 940 nm, which makes it very difficult to distinguish with human or animal eyes. So you don't have to worry about the camera being recognized by wild animals or unwanted visitors passing in front of the camera. During the day, the recording is in color, both for photos and video recorded with sound. At night, the recording is made in black and white, and the switching between modes is fully automatic.

The biggest issue with battery-powered cameras is always their durability and related operational efficiency. StrongVision PRO A is powered by 10xAA 1.5 V cells, which allows for 1-4 months of battery life per set, depending on the frequency and type of recordings. If you want to ensure long-term and inexpensive operation, the camera can be recharged with an 8,000mAh battery StrongVison BAT3, which can extend the battery life up to 6 months depending on the settings used. The rechargeable battery also allows for more economical operation, as you don't need to keep buying new AA batteries.

Although the camera itself is durable and meets the IP65 standard, there are many situations where you need to protect it from either a mischievous person or a squirrel who likes to test the durability of the plastic housing. Therefore, a protective and lockable metal box EVOLVEO StrongVision MB2 is available for the entire StrongVision PRO series. The box is made of 1.5 mm thick sheet metal, has all the holes so you can connect an external power supply or use a steel cable to mount it, and thanks to the matte protective coating, it is weatherproof.

If you have the opportunity to connect the camera to the network, you can buy a 12V network adapter EVOLVEO StrongVision ADAP, the camera receives power primarily from the adapter, and if there is a power failure from the network, the built-in batteries serve as a backup power source.
