At the time of our story, the street is covered with garbage, because everyone from the neighborhood carries their waste to the wall of the garden next to the Bonbonpalota. The apartments have an unbearable stench, and everything is inundated with bugs, cockroaches, lice, and fleas. Strange people live in the flea palace: the alcoholic university professor, who after his divorce finds comfort on the shoulder of his loud girlfriend; the gay twins, Celal and Cemal, who were separated in childhood, but opened a joint hair salon as adults. Also living in the house is Metin Keménydió and his wife Nágya, who is constantly humiliated by the dubbing actor Metin; the Sky Blue Lover who does not know what to do with life's difficulties. Also living here are the elderly hoarder Madame Néni, Higiénia Tijen, whose little daughter will have lice, the drug addict Sidar and his dog Gaba, the schoolboy Muhammet and his parents, the not-at-all-everyday Explosive nature boy family, and of course Hajji Hajji, who is full of genies with strange tales. treats her grandchildren, driving her daughter-in-law crazy.
