Ebdürrehim bey Haqverdiyev (1870-1933) was born in the city of Susa, lived and created here in his youth, and is one of the creators of modern Azerbaijani prose literature, including realistic depiction. We can get to know the qualities of the people of the East, the essential bargaining, ingenuity, wisdom, religious and national traditions. Folk humor, sayings and proverbs on the lips of the people are present in his style.
