Dot Hutchison - A summer gyermekei (A collector 3.)

The FBI agent thought he had seen it all
- but never before...

When Agent Mercedes Ramirez finds an injured, bloodied child on her porch clutching her teddy bear, little does she know that this is just the beginning. He learns that the boy's parents were murdered by an "angel" and then brought here to be looked after by Mercedes. It is not a simple murder, but a cruel massacre, the likes of which have not been seen in the department of crimes committed against minors. Now, however, they are faced with more and more cases: an avenging angel has launched a bloody campaign of justice and apparently does not want to stop.

More and more children appear in front of Mercedes' house with the same story. All survivors in the family were abused. Each story tears apart Mercedes' own past wounds. And they all pose a great threat to your life and career.

The investigation leads down increasingly dark paths, and Mercedes fears that either this case will destroy her or her own childhood memories.

"A disturbing plot with a strong female protagonist,
with lots and lots of tension... Children of Summer hits big!"
