DJI RS 3 Combo
Product description
The DJI RS 3 provides a flexible and efficient shooting experience in every detail for one-person content creators and independent crews. Light and slim, it provides professional stabilization and effective control for greater creative freedom and endless possibilities.
Quick release plates
Thanks to the two-layer quick-release plates, mounting the camera on the RS 3 is quick and convenient, there is no need to rebalance the gimbal after each battery or memory card exchange. The new tilt axis fine-tuner allows the camera to slide forward or backward with millimeter accuracy, making it easier to achieve precise balance when changing lenses.
Automated axle locks
RS 3 enables immediate commissioning. When the gimbal is off, press and hold the power button and the three axes unlock while the gimbal automatically unfolds, so you can get to work in seconds. Once you press the power button, the axles automatically lock and go into sleep mode, making transport and travel much easier. Press and hold the power button and the gimbal will automatically fold and lock.
Wireless camera control
With the introduction of Dual-Mode Bluetooth, the RS 3 supports wireless camera control, saving you time and energy during use [1]. After initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and photo recording by pressing the recording button on the stabilizer once. Previously paired cameras automatically reconnect after the first use, so there is no need for a camera control cable.
Excellent weight-to-weight ratio
Weighing just 1.3kg (including gimbal, battery grip and quick-release plates), the RS 3 is easy to hold in one hand, while its 3kg load capacity is plenty for mainstream cameras like the Sony A7S3 or Canon R5 24-70mm For use with an F2.8 lens.
3rd generation RS stabilization algorithm
Thanks to the next-generation RS stabilization algorithm, the RS 3 provides enhanced stability in all shooting situations. Lab tests show that the RS 3 provides 20% more stability than the RSC 2, making it easy to handle low-angle shots, running, or switching between high and low positions.
Beyond smoothness
If you need an even smoother result, turn on the SuperSmooth mode. The RS 3 boosts the motor's torque to further improve stabilization, ensuring stable footage even in fast-moving scenes or when using lenses with 100mm-equivalent focus.
1.8" OLED touch screen
Compared to the black-and-white screen of the RSC 2, the RS 3 has a 1.8-inch, 80% larger color OLED touchscreen. It also supports the settings of most Ronin applications, together with the redesigned user interface, it provides intuitive and precise control.
Instant mode switching
With a simple slide of the new gimbal mode switch, you can switch between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow and FPV modes. The selection of FPV mode can also be customized according to 3D Roll 360, Portrait or Custom, allowing even more precise setup of the equipment and quick use.
Customizable front dial
You can control zoom or focus by turning the first dial. It can also be customized to control the camera's shutter, aperture, ISO value, or gimbal movement [2], making one-handed use exceptionally convenient.
Monitoring via smartphone
The RS 3 supports the Ronin Image Transmitter (formerly known as the Ronin RavenEye Image Transmitter)[3], which transmits 1080p/30fps HD live image directly to a mobile device. The maximum transmission distance is 200 meters[4] and the end-to-end transmission delay is only 60ms. [4] For wireless monitoring, a smartphone can also be connected to the NATO port of the RS 3, using the phone holder.
Integrated monitoring and control
Adjust camera exposure remotely directly in the Ronin app or control the gimbal with the virtual joystick for an integrated monitoring and control experience.
Force Mobile
With the Ronin Image Transmitter, your smartphone can be used as a motion controller to remotely control the RS 3 gimbal, allowing for more flexible and dynamic camera movements.
Quick release design
The new RS 3 battery grip has a cartridge design, making it easier to change batteries and has less storage compared to the RSC 2. Moreover, it can even be charged separately from the gimbal.
12-hour operating time + fast charging
The new battery grip provides an extended operating time of up to 12 hours, enough for continuous recording throughout the day. It supports 18 W PD fast charging, thanks to which the charging time is only 2.5 hours. It can even be used while charging, so the RS 3 can be used almost indefinitely.
