The DeLonghi Espresso glass cup is made of borosilicate. This glass has favorable properties both chemically and physically: it has very high mechanical strength, it is significantly resistant to strong acids and alkalis, and its coefficient of thermal expansion is very low, so it can withstand large temperature fluctuations, which is why its use is widespread in households. In addition to all this, like other glass objects, it lends the given object a designer, clean appearance.

Thanks to the aforementioned borosilicate material, the DeLonghi glass can be used at up to 300 °C. This way, you can put it in a conventional microwave oven, dishwasher, or even in the refrigerator or freezer.
