    Product description

    This Delock adapter connects a Slim SATA device, such as an optical drive, to a desktop or laptop computer via a USB 3.0 Type-A plug. It features a 13-pin Slim SATA 6 Gb/s socket and is designed for Slim SATA devices. The JMicron JMS578 chipset supports the SATA 1.5 Gb/s, SATA 3 Gb/s and SATA 6 Gb/s standards, while the USB 3.0 interface offers transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s. Power is drawn from the USB bus, and an LED indicates operation.

    The black adapter has a cable of approx. 35 cm and weighs 70 g. It requires no external power supply, making it a simple way to connect a drive to a free USB Type-A port.

    Supported systems include Windows 7 to 10 (including 64-bit editions), macOS 10.9 or later, and Linux kernel 4.15.3 or later. The package contains the adapter and a user manual.
