It supports Ultra HD (4K) resolution and is backward compatible with Full-HD 1080p resolution.
Active cable
This cable provides an active connection, so it can also be used for graphics cards, which are otherwise not suitable for sending DP++ signals.
Bound signal direction
The cable can only connect an HDMI output device to a DisplayPort source, such as an HDMI display and a personal computer that has a DisplayPort connector. Signal transmission in the opposite direction is not supported.
