Our new publication is based on the graduation requirements valid from 2024.

There are 63 short essays on universal historical topics and 59 long essays on Hungarian historical topics in 13 chapters. At the beginning of the chapters, the mandatory core curriculum concepts, names, chronological and topographical data appear.

Emphasis is placed on writing explanatory text tasks, considered to be the most difficult part of the exam: the topics are processed in the form of essay tasks. It shows what to pay attention to when writing an essay, how to use sources, how to write well and to the point, and how to achieve the best possible exam results even with limited scope and even less certain knowledge.

It describes the scoring aspects of the repair guide and presents the repair key through examples.
In the texts, the answer elements that can be evaluated when correcting are marked, so that it is easier to record the data and connections included in the curriculum as a basic requirement, and to make them aware of their role.

The essays cover the entire graduation topic.

At the beginning of the chapters, the mandatory core curriculum concepts and names are displayed in a table, the chronology is displayed on a timeline, and the topographical data is displayed on map sketches. It includes the evaluation aspects of the essays, as well as correction keys for a short and a long essay. In the texts, we highlighted the elements that can be evaluated during the exam, the structure of arguments, explanations and the use of sources.

The language of the texts is simpler at the beginning of the volume, and becomes more complex as the historical knowledge progresses. Thus, the book can be used from the 9th grade for resource-centered learning and learning essay writing. The book is supplemented by digital study material.
