COVID-19 antitest szint measuring (neutralizáló) gyorsteszt
Product description
The rapid test for measuring the level of (neutralizing) COVID-19 antibodies can not only show whether, after receiving the vaccine, antibodies to defeat the virus are present in your body, but also to what extent. In this way, it is easy to test whether the vaccination received even months earlier still provides sufficient protection for you. Antibodies are meant to prevent the virus from spreading into the cells upon encountering it.
How does the rapid test for measuring the level of COVID-19 antibodies (neutralization) work?
The test can be performed with a blood sample taken from the fingertip. It is necessary to place a drop of blood sample in the testing opening of the test cassette in the package, which must be diluted with two drops of reagent, which reagent is also included in the package. After 15 minutes, the result appears on the test cassette.
The strip appearing in band C is the control strip. The strip that appears in the T band is the test strip, the shade of the color of this strip shows the amount of antibodies present in your body. The color chart in the box will help you identify this.
It is important to follow the steps described in the Hungarian instruction manual included in the package exactly when performing the test.
Test result levels based on the color scale
B (only the control strip appeared): no neutralizing antibody can be detected in the body
C7 – C9: the amount of neutralizing antibody in the body is barely detectable
C5 – C6: the amount of neutralizing antibody in the body is very low
C3 – C4: adequate amount of neutralizing antibodies in the body
C1 – C2: high amount of neutralizing antibodies in the body
In the event that neither the control nor the test strip is displayed, or only the test strip is displayed (since the control strip must be displayed in any case), the test is ineffective. This could either be because the test procedure steps were not followed correctly when performing the test, or the cartridge itself was damaged. In such a case, it is advisable to repeat the test.
When should I take the test to get the most relevant results?
If you have received the vaccine against the coronavirus, it takes 7-14 days for your body to start producing antibodies that protect against the virus. For people who have had an infection, this may take even longer. Therefore, it is important that the rapid test for measuring (neutralizing) the level of COVID-19 antibodies is not used too early, because until the body produces enough antibodies, the test will not be able to detect them.
