A bizarre accident leads to an even more bizarre murder in a small American town. However, the man, who is arrested on charges of double murder, is soon overshadowed by an even more shocking suspicion: he has been kidnapping, torturing and mutilating his victims for at least twenty-five years. The FBI immediately starts investigating the case, but soon they have to ask for outside help.
