The shape-designed design of the Cata E-GLASS ventilation fans has not only an aesthetic, but also a flow-technical role. It is characterized by a lower noise level compared to its counterparts with similar performance and traditional design. It is designed for the ventilation of bathrooms, restrooms, and household rooms, for exhausting the used air directly through a wall opening or through a short pipe system. The fan can be operated either from the light switch in the room or from a separate switch for the fan.

The product is protected against splashing water and has an IP-44 protection level in terms of moisture, therefore the minimum installation height can be 225 cm measured from floor level. It can also be installed on the side wall or ceiling thanks to its special bearings.

The so-called perimetric extraction technology prevents the unit from quickly becoming dirty. The glass front panel can be removed using the tool included in the unit package, making it easy to clean. The front panel has a digital display that shows the temperature and humidity of the room. Thanks to the applied state-of-the-art production technology and the use of quality components, it is extremely energy-efficient, with a maximum power consumption of only 8 Watts. Its special roller bearings, designed for 40,000 operating hours, ensure a much longer than average life expectancy. It can be installed both in wall and ceiling.

Two operating modes can be selected for this fan:
1. Traditional, single-stage operation (intermittent operation). The fan can be operated from a switch or its built-in moisture sensor can start or stop the unit. The adjustable post-ventilation time enables a delayed shutdown.

2. Two-stage operation (continuous operation). The fan provides continuous, quiet basic ventilation with extremely low energy consumption. The high stage can be started by turning on the fan switch (light switch or a separate switch that operates the fan) or by the high humidity sensor built into the fan. When the switch is turned off, if the humidity has reached the appropriate level, the fan will return to the basic level. In the case of a set post-ventilation time, the transition takes place after the delay period.

It is possible to switch between the two operating modes (intermittent and continuous) at any time.

Timer function: enables delayed shutdown of the fan (or switching to the quiet stage). The desired post-ventilation time can be set steplessly between 0 and 15 minutes. This function can be especially useful in the case of ventilation of restrooms or bathrooms combined with restrooms.

Hygro function: the built-in humidity sensor unit provides automatic ventilation if the humidity in the room exceeds the permitted threshold. This value can be continuously adjusted between 40-90% relative humidity, according to needs.

Digital display: by default, it shows the temperature and humidity of the room. When setting the device's humidity sensor and post-ventilation function, the display switches to the setting values. This gives you instant feedback on your settings. When the settings are finished, the display switches back to the measured values.
