Bruck Edith - Az elveszett bread
2 980 Ft
Product description
So that she doesn't forget anything, and that others don't forget, sixty years after the publication of Edith's first book, Bruck recalls her childhood again, and then the period of her life when she trod the ground in the same wooden shoes in winter and summer in Auschwitz, then in various concentration camps in Germany.
Miraculously, he survived. He would have tried to start a new life, but where, how, with whom? Behind him are lives that ended tragically, including those of his parents, before him are real and emotional ruins. He feels alone in the foreign world, where there is zero intention of acceptance and listening, so he decides to run away.
He talks about the alienation he experienced among his own family, then about how he tried to put down roots in Israel, and then about how he found a completely new way of life when he traveled half of Europe with a dance group made up of exiles like him, and finally ended up in Italy. There, she started working in a beauty salon, which was mainly visited by the characters of Rome's high society at the end of the 1950s. It was then that he met the poet and director Nelo Risi, with whom they became lifelong companions, and their artistic and emotional alliance lasted for more than sixty years.
