Product description
Impressive Jupiter, breathtaking Ring Nebula and brilliant Pleiades – there are endless beauties to admire in outer space. With this complete set of binoculars for beginners, you can discover them with your own eyes, and you can do it right away. Everything is included to start observing the sky quickly and easily: the astronomical reflector telescope with an aperture of 114 mm and a focal length of 900 mm, an equatorial stand, and a wide range of astronomical accessories. In addition, the telescope is very easy to operate, even for beginners. Galaxia is particularly suitable for observing the Moon and planets, as well as star clusters and bright gas nebulae.
Thanks to the 114 mm diameter of the entry-level telescope, it already collects a lot of light from celestial bodies. In addition, the 114mm aperture and 900mm focal length result in a large aperture value (ratio of aperture to focal length), (F/7.9). As a result, you can enjoy a sharp image with good contrast. The combination of large aperture and long focal length makes the Moon, Sun and planets in particular very impressive through this telescope. But it can also be used to observe many deep-sky objects. For example, bright gas nebulae such as the Orion Nebula M42 or the Dumbbell Nebula M27 can already be seen with this telescope.
However, how close do celestial bodies appear through an astronomical telescope? The resolution of the 114 mm aperture enables up to 230 times magnification with sharp images. Technically, even more is possible, theoretically up to 675x using the included accessories. But as the magnification increases, the sharpness of the image may slowly decrease. Another factor always determines the answer to the question of possible magnification: the air turbulence of the atmosphere (visibility conditions).
CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the sun without the sun filter!
Take your first photos of the Moon or the Sun and do it easily: the smartphone adapter allows you to attach your smartphone camera to the telescope and thereby record astronomical snapshots.
