Take to the stars with ease - with this entry-level telescope that includes many astronomical accessories, including a solar filter and a smartphone adapter

Adjust it and be immediately amazed: the BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ lens telescope takes you one step closer to the fascinating world of planets and star clusters. The complete astronomical kit contains everything you need to start observing the sky immediately: an astronomical objective telescope with an aperture of 60 mm and a focal length of 700 mm, an azimuthal stand and many accessories. It's very easy to use - perfect for introducing children to the exciting hobby of astronomy.
Simply an astronomical classic - the telescope

This classic lens telescope – also known as Fraunhofer type achromatic refractor – shows beginners and children the beauty of the night sky. The telescope offers good imaging properties thanks to its modern, precisely coated optics. A focal ratio of approximately 1-11.7 (F/11.7), resulting from the ratio of the 60mm aperture to the 700mm focal length, provides sharp images with good contrast. It is also ideal for exploring the moon, planets, and open star clusters. But how big do these celestial objects look? Thanks to its resolution determined by the size of the aperture, the telescope easily produces really sharp images up to about 120x magnification.

Technically, even more is possible with this entry-level binocular - theoretically up to 525x magnification with the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the image will generally become more blurry. Moreover, the telescope is not the only factor that determines the possible magnification. Air turbulence in the atmosphere is also always an important criterion.

Once you've found the right spot for your astronomical adventures, attach your telescope to the height-adjustable aluminum tripod with azimuth lock. The ease of use of this azimuth stand allows you to easily move from one astronomical bearing to another. Simply move the telescope left and right, up and down by hand - just like a regular tripod. In order to ensure that contact lenses, sun filters, etc. always at hand, just place the accessories on the practical tray between the legs of the stand.
Everything you need to get started quickly - the accessories

To help you see as much as possible, it offers a wide range of entry-level binocular accessories. For example, you can track the sky with the LED finder. This is a range finder that must be mounted parallel to the actual telescope. It projects a red dot onto a small frosted glass screen. If you look through it, the red dot appears to be floating in front of the sky, exactly where the telescope's optics are pointing. This makes it easier to find celestial objects and precisely align the telescope.

And how much magnification is determined by choosing the right eyepiece. Two are already included in the kit: 4 mm and 20 mm. In addition, with the 3x Barlow lens, you can triple the magnification of the eyepieces. If at some point you want to expand your field of view with additional eyepieces, this is no problem at all. The 1.25-inch (31.7 mm) socket diameter conforms to an international and manufacturer-independent standard. This allows a wide range of optional eyepieces to be used with your telescope.

WARNING: Never point and look at the Sun with the telescope without a solar filter!

If you want to capture and share your discoveries, simply take photos of the Moon, Sun and many other celestial bodies using the included smartphone adapter.
