Product description
BRESSER solar panel for charging battery devices Whether it's camping, sailing, trekking or vacation - if you like to spend a lot of time outdoors, but don't want to be without your smartphone, tablet, power bank and other electronic companions. However, the question will soon arise: Where can I find the nearest outlet? Because one day all batteries will run out and our other practical everyday helpers cannot do without electricity. With the ultra-compact BRESSER solar charger, you can simply use the sun's energy to charge your devices. Environmentally friendly solar energy is free - and you remain independent from the electricity grid! Simply unfold it, put it down, and even produce green solar energy immediately The treatment is very simple: open the solar panel and adjust its orientation as much as possible in the direction of the Sun. Then connect the device to be charged to the solar charger, either with a suitable USB cable (not included) or with the supplied DC connection cable, and the charging process can begin. What devices is the solar panel compatible with? Let's nail it, this device is just the solar panel. It only performs its task when it has something to upload. All types of devices with a USB power connector or the above-mentioned DC hollow connector are ready to use again in seconds with the solar charger - e.g. smartphones, tablets, power banks, portable Playstations, MP4 players, GPS devices and Bluetooth headphones. For charging large power plants, we recommend BRESSER solar cells with a higher output, with an output power of at least 60 watts - see article number. 3810050. The set also includes a universal connection cable with a hollow DC plug 5.5/2.1 mm in diameter and 2.5 meters long, as well as 3 plug adapters (3.5/1.35 mm, 5.5/2.5 mm, 8 ,0/5.5/0.8 mm). How long does it take to charge? Most modern devices with a built-in rechargeable battery inform you of the battery's current state of charge via a display or status LEDs. The charging process is carried out by the smartphone or tablet, etc. its internal charge controller also automatically shuts down as soon as the battery is charged. Still, it's useful to know how long it theoretically takes to fully charge an empty battery. This is the only way you can choose a solar panel model that meets the needs of the device to be charged. A little calculation: Divide the battery capacity (mAh) by the charging current (mA) of the charger and multiply it by 75. This gives the approximate charging time in minutes that is required to fully charge in 100% sunlight. Example: Calculate the charging time for a smartphone battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh (3.0 Ah), if this is 3100 mA (3. 1 amp) charging current via a 5 volt USB port. So 3000 : 3100 x 75 = 73 minutes. The result divided by 60 gives the charging time in hours: 1.2 h With a 40 watt solar panel, you can fully charge an average smartphone in just over 1.2 hours. Carabiner hook included for fixing The unit package contains 4 stable fixing hooks, with which you can securely fix the solar panel to various objects and perfectly orient it in the direction of the Sun. Simply attach these to the riveted ring tabs of the solar panel and hang the solar charger stably, e.g. B. on a tent loop, fence or other suitable point. Innovative solar cell technology with high efficiency The monocrystalline silicon cells are highly efficient, thus ensuring that the device's batteries are charged as quickly as possible. This concept is the maximum power yield per solar cell surface. As a result, the user can enjoy the advantages of relatively high charging current and short charging time due to the compact design. Easy transport Thanks to the modern and flat design, individual segments of the solar panel can be easily folded into a small bag and stored in luggage, which saves space. The device is always ready for the next spontaneous use. Robust, dust- and water-repellent materials The durable Cordura fabric is extremely tear-resistant and yet flexible. It protects the valuable solar panel from damage while providing the necessary stability during use. The solar module is dust and water repellent, so it can withstand most weather conditions, making it an ideal companion for almost all outdoor activities. Nevertheless, the solar panel must not be exposed to direct rain or excessive moisture! Features: The solar cell does not have an integrated charger or charge controller, so it is not suitable for direct charging of loose battery cells or lead acid batteries. However, it is specifically recommended, e.g. smartphones, tablets and power banks
