Here at Bosch, the safety of our devices is extremely important, which we have perfectly combined with an additional convenient service. A good example of this safety is intelligent, automatic shutdown. This feature ensures safety and also saves energy, as the iron switches off when you leave it alone or do not use it for a long time. If we want to be precise, the iron turns off after 30 seconds when it is in a horizontal position, and after 8 minutes when it is in a vertical position on its base unit. This very convenient, safe and modern function ensures worry-free ironing.

With enough steam and heat, you can finish ironing faster. Work with a minimum steam charge of 80g - 120g — the higher the amount, the more time you save.

PalladiumGlissée soleplate: for easier gliding.

The special soleplate with its 3-phase design guarantees ideal steam distribution and maximum gliding. The three-zone ironing technique includes a wetting, drying and smoothing process. This ironing process and the improved layout of the steam channels make this chore much more comfortable and stress-free.

2000 - 2300 W is the recommended minimum wattage if you want to achieve satisfactory ironing results with a steam iron. This value should not be any lower if you want to achieve good results with your laundry.

3AntiCalc: ready for longer operation.

Good things come in threes — this also applies to a device's lifespan. The 3AntiCalc function, as the name suggests, is a triple cleaning function that includes SelfClean (self-cleaning), Calc'nClean (water descaling) and the built-in AntiCalc system for water descaling.
